Waco skills-test and vehicle scheduling

Waco applicants can separate the commercial skills appointment on Jewell Drive from the office visit for a learner permit.

Can I use a Waco permit office address as my skills-test destination?

Use the address on your skills-test confirmation. Permit offices and commercial test sites can be different, and a vehicle rental must match the test appointment. Share the confirmation with the office before travel.

Find the right DPS location before booking equipment

DPS identifies the Waco CDL location as skills testing only. Use your driver license office appointment for permit business and your DPS test confirmation for the Jewell Drive visit.

Office suggestions use the listed locations near the starting city. Your appointment confirmation determines the actual test address. Get Your CDL Quick! provides its in-person vehicle services in Royse City.

A test appointment at Waco CDL and a truck reservation have separate confirmations. Ask which vehicle will be there, who may operate it before the examiner arrives and what terms apply if the test is rescheduled. Ask which rental charges apply to your test site, what fuel costs extra and whether your selection qualifies for separate complimentary behind-the-wheel ELDT.
